The Learners
The learners are employees of various backgrounds, ages, races, genders, education levels and hierarchical positions in the company from every branch around the world.
The Performance Gap
The performance gap is lack of compliance with Soft Pop's Business Code of Conduct, and the knowledge problem is lack of familiarity with the Code.
Objectives
Organizational Goal:
To reduce the number of investigations of Soft Pop Business Code of Conduct asset violations with resulting disciplinary actions by 50% over the next 12 months.
Overall Learning Objective:
Upon completion of all Soft Pop Business Code of Conduct Training Modules, all learners should be able to demonstrate comprehension of the Soft Pop Business Code of Conduct.
Module Learning Objective:
Upon completion of the Soft Pop Business Code of Conduct Training Module section entitled “Company Assets,” learners should be able to demonstrate comprehension of the Soft Pop Business Code of Conduct: Company Assets.
Training Intervention?
Subsequent to discussions of the issue with management, the company legal counsel, and the Ethics and Compliance Office, it was determined that several factors may be to blame, including a lack of awareness of what is expected of employees.
Therefore, it was decided to use the current Soft Pop Company Code of Conduct document as a mandatory training module for all employees as one segment of a holistic approach to the solution.
Relevant Data
Data was gathered from the Soft Pop Code of Conduct, management, the company legal counsel, the Ethics and Compliance Office, anonymous surveys (using Likert Scale and Semantic Differential) and extant data such as company ethics documents.
